Background:

            Paul was born in Australia in 1955. He was born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit in Feb. 1974. He was immediately aware of and sensed a call to the ministry. Paul met his wife Diana in 1977 and they married in Jan.1978.

            They were a part of the founding members of ChristianLifeCenter, Sydney Australia, (now Hillsong) This church is pastored by Dr Brian Houston who is also the national President for Assemblies of God in Australia.      

           From the outset of his conversion Paul had a strong desire and orientation towards both personal and mass evangelism. He has had much experience in leading witnessing teams as well as holding open air campaigns combining personal ministry and preaching with the use of music in evangelism. Paul also pioneered and led home fellowship meetings under Dr. Houstons direction while in Sydney C.L.C. prior to entering full time ministry in Feb.

In July 1990 the Sames family moved to the USA with a burning heart of love for America and her people. This was the fulfillment of a dream that God had burnt into Paul and Diana’s heart since the earliest days of their marriage in 1978.

As well as church planting and pastoral experience Rev Paul Sames has had much missionary evangelistic experience in many states of the USA as well as in Canada, Western Europe, England, Nigeria, Cayman Islands, Mexico and Indonesia and of course Australia. Paul and Diana have also both worked as directors and counselors for "Crisis Call" a Spirit filled Christian telephone and personal counseling ministry in Sydney, Australia. Music has always featured strongly in Paul's ministry both in worship and evangelism. Besides having almost 3 years as music director of a church, Paul also was the lead singer/songwriter and guitarist for a Christian band in the early 1980's.

Paul holds a Diploma in Ministry as well as Bachelor of Theology degree.
